Art for a Cause is my endeavor to improve the world around us through art and philanthropy. I am grateful for the individuals who have made it possible for me to continue to support this venture.

In 2012, I launched "Art for a Cause". Mesmerized by the beauty and humility of village life in India, I immediately picked up my sketch book and started drawing. After coming back to New York, I created several artworks inspired by my trip and one day showed them to a friend. He was immediately captivated by one of the pieces and bought one on the spot.

I was over the moon. But something was missing. I wanted to help people but how was I doing that by selling art? My supportive husband suggested I donate the proceeds from the sale to charity. I immediately contacted the village in India that inspired my work and was able to provide a local hospital with a much needed kidney dialysis machine.

From that day forward, net proceeds from the sale of my artworks are donated to various charities.
